Alex and Evan celebrated their birthday with family and friends on Saturday with a scooby doo themed party at our house. We bought them a pool for their Birthday, so they swam, had water balloon and water gun fights all under the bright sunshine and warm weather. It was a perfect day! They got a lot of nice gifts and had a really nice time. Alex fell asleep opening his presents!
That evening, we took them back to the 4H Fair Grounds to see a Monster Truck Show. It too, was a lot of fun, but they were pretty tired so we cut out a little early.
Yesterday was their birthday. We started off with donuts (their favorite) for breakfast followed by a short nap, then off to the movies to see Despicable Me 3 and ended the weekend with dinner at Sagano - a Japanese Steakhouse - which they love. The chef and table of people sang happy birthday to them and they had a yummy hibachi chicken dinner.
They are truly spoiled and loved by so many -especially Eric and I. We couldn't be more proud of the little men they are growing into and this is the one weekend out of the year that we go all out.
Happy Birthday to the twin boys who surprised us a little early seven years ago and made us parents for the first time. We love you so very much and are so blessed to have you as our sons.
