Day 2 was a long but beautiful day with a lot of time spent outdoors. We had planned on doing both The Shedd Aquarium and The Children's Museum so we parked at The Shedd and walked (yes walked) to Navy Pier. It was about a 3 mile walk along the lake shore and although it was tough at times, it was something I am glad we did. When we finally arrived at Navy Pier, we ate lunch and then Evan and Eric went into the Children's museum. I opted to keep Alex with me for a bit because I thought a ride on the Carousel may peak his interest a little more than the museum. We had some one on one time while Eric and Evan did as well. It was hard getting Evan out of the museum, so we never made it back to The Shedd, but we still had to trek back. We were tired and hungry and decided to dine in Forest Park at our favorite Italian Place - Jimmy's Place. It was delicious - as always. We actually called it an early night (9pm) and got some sleep to gear up for Day 3!
