Michigan's Upper Peninsula

We ended August - and our summer - with a trip over the Mackinac Bridge and up into Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We stayed for two nights in a town called Newberry. We traveled over to Pictured Rocks, explored the beach and some waterfalls, played mini-golf and grabbed some grub. The next day we visited Oswald's Bear Ranch where we had our picture taken with a baby bear. We decided to make the trek up to Tahquamenon Falls - which I am glad we did. I was unsure of the number of steps (119) but it was feasible for us to carry Alex. These are the kinds of trips we want to do while he is young and we are able to carry him. After Tahquamenon, we crossed back over the Mackinac Bridge and stayed in Mackinaw City for the night before heading home. The boys were all about the pool and were there until management came down to close it! The weather was perfect, the experiences were amazing and we would love to go back next summer and explore even more!
