2019 Year in Review - Part 1 of 2

Welcome 2020!

My hope for this year, is that it will be full of positive change, more happiness, less stress and fun adventures! 2019 was a challenging year for myself and our family as a whole. I am not going to go into details, but things have to change for the better -and I am determined to make sure they will.

2019 had some great highlights - Here are the Highlights from the first 6 months!

JANUARY

*Evan started Basketball - for the first time. He loved it, and it helped having a friend (Nathan) on the team. It took Evan awhile to score a basket during a game, but when he did, it was priceless. He was so proud and so were we!

*We were bombarded by a lot of ice, cold and snow and had a bunch of snow days. Alex and Evan didn't seem to mind because that meant days off and doing fun things.

MARCH

March 6th I turned 40. Eric planned a really nice get together with my family. We kept it simple, had pizza and cake at the house. The following weekend he planned a nice get together with our friends. We did an escape room, had some food and drinks and then flew around the track on the indoor go-karts. My co-workers didn't forget about me either. They decorated my desk and the window so everyone knew I was 40! I definitely felt the love from everyone!

We were able to escape the cold for one night and enjoy the warmth of the pools and hot tub at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth. We ate pizza, played putt putt and scored prizes at the arcade!!

APRIL

We stayed home for Spring Break but managed to make the most of it. We did a day at the Zoo, went bowling, played at Chuck E. Cheese and met up with cousins to play at the park!

Easter was late this year so the weather was really nice! We did some Easter Egg Hunts, went to Church and celebrated with my family.

April 25th was bring your kid (or kids) to work day. Eric's company does it up big. Evan went with Eric that morning and Alex got dropped off after Therapy. They had crafts, sports, dance parties, snacks and more. The boys had a BLAST!

MAY

Our friends from New Jersey, Amy and Emily came for a visit and we spent the day at the Zoo with them. It was a gorgeous afternoon!!

Evan played Spring Soccer and really grew as a player!

JUNE

Eric's company put on a Carnival for it's employees. Everything (and I mean Everything) was FREE! WE had so much fun!

3rd Grade FINALLY came to an end. Alex and Evan had a great year. I can't believe they are 4th Graders now!!!

Last Day of School!

We went to the Seymour Lake Celebration with Rachel, Lauren and Nathan this year! Carnival and Fireworks - we had a ball! This was just the beginning of our fun filled summer!

Stay Tuned for Part 2! Coming Soon!!
